Hello world, and greetings from the newest Boise State Bronco superfan. The Gem State has much to be proud of, and I am excited to join the fold of the Bronco faithful. I was lucky enough to draw the Broncos as my new team for life in a recent drawing with my friends, and I plan to dive headlong into the thrilling world of Boise State fandom. This blog will be devoted to two things: supporting the Broncos, and defiling the name of departed head football coach Dan Hawkins.
As my first official act as a Bronco supporter, I wish to extend a hearty congratulations to the BSU grapplers, who locked up their second straight Pac 10 wrestling crown. Yes, our Boise State men can roll on the floor with other sweaty men with the best of 'em.
As you can see, this blog intends to pay consistent homage to the greatest play in college football history (which was, admittedly, drawn up by Dastardly Dan Hawkins himself) but we also hope to remind the world that Boise State is about more than just miracle victories and marriage proposals. Boise State is about excellence at all levels and in all facets of the institution. This blog plans to celebrate that excellence on a semi-regular basis, bringing fame to the talented men and women of the Blue and Orange.

Beauty Rosie. Great first post. I can't wait to keep up with the Broncos through the eyes of the man of many talents (and many useless [to wives] and awesome [to all of us] sports facts). Looking forward to following the Broncos and watching them get dominated by the Spartans of San Jose State throughout the years!

ReplyDeleteI love the focus on beating down Dan Hawkins. Who the hell does he think he is ripping on intramural sports like they're nothing...NOTHING??? Jerk. Do you think Boise wrestles on Blue Smurf Wrestling Mats like their Football Field.
